Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC, 台積電), the world's largest pure foundry operator, said Tuesday that its sales for January hit a fresh record high, with market analysts attributing the growth to solid demand for the chip maker's high-end 28 nanometer and 20nm processes.
