Vietnam promises to help reopen companies affected by riots

Hanoi, May 18 (CNA) Vietnam is sympathetic toward Taiwanese and other foreign investors whose businesses have been affected by anti-China rioting there and has promised to help them resume production, Vietnamese government officials said Saturday evening in Hanoi.
