HTC reportedly developing new operating system to boost China sales

Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC Corp. is preparing a new mobile operating system specifically targeted at Chinese consumers, a market that the company hopes will help invigorate sliding sales, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported Wednesday.
