First International Computer Inc. (FIC) has become the first Taiwanese brand to launch a tablet computer running Microsoft's Windows 7 operating system, jumping into an emerging market that is expected to grow rapidly next year, the company's chief operating officer, Leo Chien, said Wednesday.
