Taiwan ends 29-Year drought: Taipei Dong Yuan Elementary wins Little League World Series

Taiwan’s Dong Yuan Elementary School won the nation’s first Little League World Series title in 29 years, defeating a team from Las Vegas 7-0 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. It was the school’s second championship, 53 years after its first. The victory gives Taiwan 18 titles overall - the most of any country outside the United States.
