Tsai Ing-wen to run for president as DPP's candidate

Opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP, 民進黨) Chairwoman Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文) formally declared her candidacy for the 2016 presidential race on Wednesday after receiving her party's nomination and called for solidarity and strength to change the nation.
