Huang Kuo-chang quits as NPP chairman

Legislator Huang Kuo-chang (黃國昌) announced Monday that he was stepping down as chairman of the pro-Taiwan independence New Power Party (NPP), which was established in 2015 in the wake of the Sunflower Student Movement the previous year.
