European Parliament urges China to release Taiwanese activist

The European Parliament passed a resolution on Thursday calling for China to release Lee Ming-che (李明哲), a Taiwanese human rights and pro-democracy advocate who has been detained in China for more than three months for alleged "subversion of state power."
