President urges talks with Beijing: report

President Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文) urged Beijing, in an interview with the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday, to hold talks with her government, saying she is open to meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping (習近平), but without preconditions.
