Taiwan reiterates commitment to cross-strait peace

The Presidential Office on Friday reiterated President Ma Ying-jeou's (馬英九) commitment to promote peace across the Taiwan Strait, after the Taiwan issue was raised during a meeting between U.S. President Barack Obama and Chinese President Xi Jinping (習近平).
