Vietnamese envoy vows protection of Taiwanese (update)

Bui Trong Van, head of the Vietnam Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei, pledged Friday that Hanoi will protect Taiwanese citizens and their assets during a mass rally scheduled across the Southeast Asian country on Sunday.
