Air raid response, internet disruption tested in central Taiwan drill

Air raid alarms sounded across central Taiwan on Monday afternoon as authorities staged an urban resilience drill that included the country's first-ever test of mobile internet disruption during such an exercise. During the 30-minute drill, pedestrians and vehicles were ordered to stop, residents were directed to designated shelters, and mobile internet access was disrupted as part of a simulated wartime response.
