Taipei, Feb. 26 (CNA) Taiwan's Wu Chia-ying (吳佳穎) sealed a berth in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics Tuesday after winning a silver medal at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Rifle/Pistol World Cup 2019 in New Delhi.

Wu bagged the medal in the women's 10-meter air pistol event, scoring 238.4 points, trailing only Hungary's Veronika Major, who claimed gold with a score of 245.1 points.

With her silver medal win, Wu became the second female sport shooter from Taiwan after Tien Chia-chen (田家榛) to secure an Olympic place in the 2020 Games.

Tien secured an Olympic berth after placing fourth last year in the women's 25-meter pistol event at the ISSF World Championship in Changwon, South Korea.
