Taipei, Dec. 10 (CNA) The Taipei 101 skyscraper displayed slogans to mark Human Rights Day and recognize the proclamation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on Dec. 10, 1948 on Sunday.

The display began at 6:30 p.m. and was scheduled to end at 10 p.m.

Presented with the help of the National Human Rights Commission, the special display used slogans in both English and Chinese, including "Born Free and Equal" and "Universal Declaration of Human Rights 75," the operator of the skyscraper said.

Apart from the display, the commission also released a set of human rights stamps on Friday, while President Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文) pledged Saturday the government would remain steadfast "on the path of [promoting] transitional justice" during a speech at the Jing-Mei White Terror Memorial Park in New Taipei.
