Local dengue fever cases in Taiwan exceed 15,000 this year

Taiwan has recorded over 15,000 cases of local dengue fever and 25 deaths from the disease in this year's outbreak, the most severe since 2015, when there were more than 43,000 dengue cases and 228 deaths, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) said on Wednesday.
