Court awards family of woman stung to death by hornets NT$1.38 million

The Taiwan High Court on Wednesday ordered the Yilan County government to pay NT$1.38 million (US$44,310) in state compensation to the family of a woman who was stung to death by a swarm of hornets that had built a nest on a high voltage electricity pole.
