Compound drugs containing barbiturates to become controlled substances

The Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW) announced Monday that compound drugs containing barbiturates and benzodiazepines will be classified as Schedule 4 controlled substances, following a meeting held by the Cabinet task force group that is investigating the alleged drugging of New Taipei preschool children.
