Taipei to provide NT$8,000 taxi subsidy to pregnant women, mothers

Pregnant women and mothers up to six months after giving birth in Taipei will be entitled to receive a taxi subsidy of NT$8,000 (US$257) starting July 1, the city's Department of Social Welfare said Tuesday.
