ROAD SAFETY/Tainan to add pedestrian phase at intersection where girl was hit, killed

An exclusive pedestrian phase will be added next week at the Tainan intersection where a 3-year-old girl was hit and killed by a turning car while legally crossing the street with her mother earlier this month, the city's mayor said Thursday.
