U.S. dollar closes lower on Taipei forex market

Taipei, Jan. 17 (CNA) The U.S. dollar fell against the Taiwan dollar Friday, losing NT$0.002 to close at NT$32.926.

Turnover totaled US$686 million during the trading session.

The greenback opened at NT$32.880, and moved between NT$32.875 and NT$32.955 before the close.
