3 cannabis growers in Chiayi arrested by Taichung police

Three people were arrested for growing cannabis plants with a street value of nearly NT$20 million (US$666,600) in Chiayi County earlier this year and could be sentenced to life in prison for breaching the Narcotics Hazard Prevention Act, Taichung police said Monday.
