Cold surge advisories issued for nine cities, counties

The Central Weather Bureau (CWB) issued cold surge advisories on Saturday for nine cities and counties as a continental cold air mass caused the temperature to plunge to 10.1 degrees Celsius in New Taipei's Fuguijiao (Cape Fugui) early Saturday morning.
