Weather bureau issues heavy rain warnings for northern Taiwan

Heavy rain and a drop in daytime highs are forecast in north and northeastern parts of Taiwan due to a strengthening of the seasonal northeasterly winds, the Central Weather Bureau (CWB) said on Saturday.
