Mercury forecast to fall to 9 degrees Celsius Thursday, early Friday

Temperature lows of around 9 degrees Celsius are expected in areas north of Tainan in western Taiwan as well as Yilan and Hualien counties in the east from Thursday night to Friday morning, according to the Central Weather Bureau (CWB).
