Lows of 6 degrees in northern Taiwan expected by weekend

A cold wave is forecast to envelop Taiwan Jan. 7-9, sending temperatures plummeting as low as 6 degree Celsius in northern parts of the country, weather expert Wu Der-rong (吳德榮) said Monday.
