Temperatures in Taipei, Nantou expected to hit 38 degrees Monday

Taipei in northern Taiwan and Nantou in the central part of the country are likely to see a daytime high of 38 degrees Celsius Monday, due to a Pacific high pressure system and seasonal southwesterly winds, according to the Central Weather Bureau (CWB).
