Nuclear reactor trips as electric pylon falls during rain

A reactor at the No. 1 Nuclear Power Plant in New Taipei tripped out on Friday, after a power transmission pylon on a nearby hilltop toppled during torrential rain, Taiwan Power Co. (Taipower) said.
