Amended migrant worker employment law to come into effect Nov. 5

President Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文) promulgated on Thursday an amendment to the Employment Service Act that scraps the maximum stay requirement for migrant workers and will come into force on Saturday, the Ministry of Labor said.
