Cuts in Chinese tourist numbers before Taiwan elections confirmed

With some three months to go before Taiwan's next presidential race, a tourism source confirmed reports Monday that China will cut the number of tourists it allows to visit Taiwan in the runup to the Jan. 16 presidential election.
