The two people who died in a shipwreck near Taiwan's outlying island of Penghu Friday were identified as Hsu Shih-chieh, a research fellow with Academia Sinica, and Lin Yi-chun of Taiwan Ocean Research Institute. Forty-three others on board their research vessel were rescued, officials said.
