Some international flights canceled, postponed due to typhoon

Taipei, July 22 (CNA) Several airlines have canceled or postponed flights for Wednesday as a precaution ahead of Typhoon Matmo's approach.

China Airlines announced Tuesday that it will postpone Flights CI124/125 between Taoyuan and Ishigaki, Japan from Wednesday to Thursday.

Cathay Pacific will delay three fights from Taoyuan to Hong Kong by several hours. They are Flight CX407, which will be changed from 8:05 a.m. to noon; Flight CX403, changed from 9:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; and Flight CX469, changed from 10:15 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Hong Kong Dragon Airlines will cancel Flight KA495 from Taichung to Hong Kong.

China Southern Airlines will cancel Flights CZ3011/CZ3012 between Taoyuan and Shenyang, Liaoning Province; CZ3019/CZ3020 between Taoyuan and Guilin in Guangxi; CZ3045/CZ3046 between Taoyuan and Nanning in Guangxi; CZ3025/CZ3026 between Taoyuan and Zhangjiajie in Hunan Province; and CZ3093/CZ3094 between Kaohsiung and Wuhan, Hubei Province.

TransAsia Airways will cancel Flights GE606/605 between Taoyuan and Tokyo Narita, while Flight GE865 between Taoyuan and Jeju, South Korea will be postponed two hours and GE3681 between Taoyuan and Okinawa, Japan will be postponed three hours.
