Taiwan telecom firm reports nearly 10,000 pre-orders for iPhone 8

The number of pre-orders made by customers of a single telecommunications company in Taiwan for the latest iPhones has soared to almost 10,000 since Wednesday evening when pre-ordering opened on its website, the firm said Thursday.
