Taiwan Fair Trade Commission approves Micron-Elpida merger

Taiwan's Fair Trade Commission on Wednesday approved a merger of Micron, the largest U.S. memory-chip maker; Elpida Memory Inc. of Japan; and Taiwanese DRAM maker Rexchip Electronics Corp.
