Ex-deputy prime minister of Belgium visits Taiwan

Karel de Gucht, who served as Belgium's foreign minister and deputy prime minister in the 2000s, arrived in Taiwan late Tuesday for a four-day visit to meet with government officials and businesses, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).
