Taiwan to ask countries to support its U.N. inclusion as assembly nears

Taiwan's government will again ask its diplomatic allies and like-minded countries to voice support for the nation's inclusion in the United Nations system, as the annual U.N. General Assembly is set to kick off next week, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) said Tuesday.
