Kinmen county head criticizes Tsai for not attending military memorial

The Kinmen county magistrate voiced his displeasure Monday at the absence of President Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文) and high-ranking Cabinet officials at an annual ceremony to commemorate a crucial battle in which hundreds of soldiers were killed defending the island group from attempts by Beijing to invade 63 years ago.
