After mayoral recall vote, Kaohsiung to hold election by Sept. 12

Following the ouster of Kaohsiung Mayor Han Kuo-yu (韓國瑜) by a recall vote Saturday, Kaohsiung is expected to hold an election to choose a new mayor by Sept. 12, according to a plan from the Central Election Commission (CEC).
