Chinese academic deported for breaching entry permit rules in Taiwan

Visiting Chinese scholar Li Yi (李毅) was deported from Taiwan Friday morning because he was scheduled to make a public speech, which would have violated the terms of his entry permit, according to the National Immigration Agency (NIA).
