Taipei, Dec. 27 (CNA) Kuomintang (KMT) Chairwoman Hung Hsiu-chu (洪秀柱) could face challenges from party members during the Central Standing Committee on Wednesday over her controversial decision to move forward the election for KMT chairperson, originally scheduled for late next year, a senior KMT official said on Tuesday.
