Hung Hsiu-chu announces bid for party chair, vows to rebuild KMT
Taipei, Jan. 20 (CNA) Deputy Legislative Speaker Hung Hsiu-chu (洪秀柱) on Wednesday announced her intention to run for the chairmanship of the ruling Kuomintang (KMT), which suffered a crushing defeat in the presidential and legislative elections last weekend.
