President defends ROC sovereignty over Taiping Island

President Ma Ying-jeou (馬英九) reaffirmed Wednesday the Republic of China's sovereignty over Taiping Island in the South China Sea, while calling for all parties concerned in the territorial disputes in the region to pursue peaceful resolutions.
