Representatives from labor rights groups and unions formed by migrant workers at Asustek Computer Inc. and its subsidiary Askey Computer Corp. demonstrate outside tech gadget retailer Syntrend Creative Park in Taipei Thursday. Migrant workers at Askey accused the company of exploitation, by encouraging them to transfer to another Asus affiliated company but then charging them much higher fees to live in new dorms and save on severance pay.
