New Year's Day sunrise

The sun rises above Alishan in Chiayi County at 7:05 a.m. on Friday, the first day of the new year. The Chiayi Forest District Office and local government held their annual New Year's Day concert without a live audience, but visitors to Alishan said they were able to hear the music while admiring the view.
