Scholars from Taiwan, China pay tribute to late historian Yu Ying-shih

Tributes have flooded in after the death of Chinese-born American historian and Sinologist Yu Ying-shih (余英時) was announced Thursday, with scholars remembering Yu for both his academic contributions and support for democracy movements in Chinese-speaking societies.
