Taipei, Jan. 14 (CNA) The U.S. dollar fell sharply against the Taiwan dollar Tuesday, shedding NT$0.148 to close at NT$32.971.
Turnover totaled US$969 million during the trading session.
The greenback opened at NT$33.080, and moved between NT$32.970 and MT$33.120 before the close.
