NDC says 2023 GDP growth to hit 1.5% despite IMF downgrade

The National Development Council (NDC) said Monday that its most recent forecasts show Taiwan's gross domestic product (GDP) growing by about 1.5 percent in 2023 amid improvements for the export-oriented manufacturing sector.
