Proposed minimum monthly wage hike to benefit 1.79 million workers: Ministry

Taiwan's proposed wage hike of 4.05 percent in the minimum monthly wage reflects price rises of daily necessities -- the most significant in recent years -- and is expected to benefit 1.79 million workers, the Ministry of Labor (MOL) said on Friday.
