Electricity use on Green Island hits record high

Electricity consumption on Green Island off the coast of southeastern Taiwan reached 5,926 kilowatts at 10:19 p.m. Thursday, the highest in the 42 years state-run Taiwan Power Co. (Taipower) has been in charge of the island's power generation.
