Taiwan urges Washington to broaden rules on chip investment subsidies

Taiwan's top trade negotiator John Deng (鄧振中) has urged the United States to subsidize U.S. investments by Taiwanese semiconductor makers and producers of semiconductor materials as the Washington debates rules on implementing the CHIPS Act.
