Consumer confidence in Taiwan falls in April after 3 straight months of growth

Consumer confidence in Taiwan declined slightly in April, after rising for three consecutive months, with the effects of the government's universal NT$6,000 (US$195) stimulus payment offset by higher interest rates and electricity price hikes, National Central University (NCU) said Thursday.
